Bio

I am a long time fan of history, sword and sorcery, horror, sci fi,heavy metal and all things related to the fantasy genre. My love of history and fantasy led me to become interested in D&D in 1986 when I was 12. I started with the red Basic Set and have played D&D in all it’s incarnations since.

I live in Brisbane Australia but I was born in 1974 in a rural NSW town called Dubbo, where I lived in a tiny village called Brocklehurst 10kms out of town and then in a forest 20kms out. I moved to Qld in 1998 where I met my beautiful wife Jennifer and have since married and had two kids.

I have in my life been a forester, professional hunter, bar worker, bouncer and night club manager before becoming a full time medieval performer and purveyor of fine medieval wares. To supplement this income I am also a contracted delivery driver which earns me a tidy sum for few hours work in the wee hours and lets me listen to my favourite gaming podcasts (Dragons Landing Inn rules!).

When I am not gaming or working I am training, maintaining my equipment, horses and knowledge as well as my two websites. In my spare time(by this I mean when I am not doing what I should be!) I am playing Xbox 360 and watching movies. Somewhere in all this I attempt to be a husband and father too! Luckily my family are all involved and interested in my work and hobbies. I’m living the dream!
