Luvir
Often mistaken for were-wolves, the Luvir are a hybrid of wolf and man. They are born in this hybrid form, however, and spread no disease. They know they are something separate and special from the monsters infected with lycanthropy, but often suffer mistaken identity.
Personality: The Luvir almost always travel in packs. Even when they set out to adventure, they will seek to create a new pack with those they travel with. They are fiercely protective of friends and family and loyal to a fault. They do not discriminate based on race or abilities, knowing each person has a place and a role within a pack.
Physical Description: Luvir fall within the boundaries of Medium size, falling between 6 and 7 feet tall. They are well-muscled and sturdy and move with a natural speed and grace. They are covered in fur ranging in colors between brown, gray, white and black. Their eyes are most often a golden color. They have perky ears that stick up out of their hair and have long bushy tails as well as sharp nails on their hands and feet.
Relations: The Luvir are often mistaken for lycanthropes and therefore are often avoided or attacked. Sometimes when they pass too near to a settlement, people will throw rocks at them to scare them off. If they can convince others that they are not diseased ridden monsters, people tend to react with guilt and make an effort to repair the insult they have done. Even after then, however, they tend to keep an eye on the Luvir, always wary that they have lied only to spread the disease.
Luvir Lands: The Luvir packs reside in the forests of Golden Dale in relative peace. The people of the region know of their race and treat them with acceptance. It is rather uncommon for the Luvir to travel outside of this safe region, but it is not unheard of.
Religion: The Luvir most commonly worship Willow, acknowledging that their way of life comes directly from her as Mother Earth. They do not worship her as reverently as the Felcine, but they do have one festival each year in her honor.
Languages: The Luvir speak common, but seem to be able to understand the howls and barks of wolves.
