Temple Knight
If the priest is the voice of the gods, the Temple Knight is their sword. They uphold the beliefs and ideals of the deity they devote themselves to. None would dare speak ill of a deity while in the presence of a temple knight. The temple knight is often feared, especially those that follow an evil deity. Temple Knights have little regard for those that do not follow their deity of choice.
Characteristics: Temple Knights are skilled warriors and also have abilities granted to them by the gods they follow. Temple Knights are a diverse bunch, their ethics and behavior varying based on who they worship. They can be thugs and brutes or virtuous defenders.
Religion: Every deity has temple knights devoted to him or her, so temple knights can be of any religion. Most temple knights are officially ordained members of religious organizations, commonly called churches or temples. Each has sworn to uphold the ideals of his church.
