Andrew looked up from the papers that he was doing the calculations for the costs of the the temples and keep that his master had him doing. It was getting dark. So he began to clean up the space when he noticed a older writing quill. It was worn out from the work he had been doing for Lord Lothar for nearly a year. He had been a new counter for the temple when the assassination came. Lothar took quick command and things began to happen. First he puts me in charge of the funds of the church. I was a bit overwhelmed at first but I began to do things with the Lords blessing, things began to fall into place. I was proud of this work and finally asked my long time girl Natalie to be my wife.
This has been to the wayside for now as Lord Lothar is a work in progress. I have had to coach him and his companions in greeting nobility. Imagine me a son of a butcher telling a lord how to behave with his peers. Andrew smiled to himself.
Just as I thought things were going smoothly and began to think of a date for the wedding, I get whisked off to the lands that the group was given. I don’t truely think that they understand the value and respect that they have been given. But its not for me to decide, just do my job and when the temples and keep have been built, I can take time to finally marry my lady.
With that Andrew walked out of the tent and to the keep.
