The stormcrows planned for the next day. Flook Dingle Jag put tongues in his spell list to speak with the lizardmen easier. The group marched back the next day and although able to speak with the lizards, demanding to speak with Veranos, the lizardmen were as intractable as before. The lizardmen fired first doing minor damage to Flook Dingle Jag, Hyorn Rutherford and Nuna.

The stormcrows responded with spells and swept the walls of the crossbowmen and unleashed significant amount of damage to the community. Angry they left the community and discussed another plan. They would gather up the lizardmen in the surrounding areas to crush Veranos lizards. They went north and found a community of lizardmen and tried to discuss the situation. They noticed that the lizardmen of that community was about half the bulk of the Veranos lizardmen and not very willing to commit to a war of agression. Irriated the Stormcrows left again.

More discussion came about and the group decided on a assault on Veranos stronghold. They suspected that the Veranos lizardmen would not come out for a fight after being soundly trashed twice by the group. The group went over the walls via mass fly and after being ineffectually pelted by crossbows landed on the walkway. Lothar decided to try to open the door, the others lifted off the ground. The ramp below Lothar dropped away. Lothar dropped a couple of feet before the fly worked. Within the pit was a green mass of jelly. Psuedopods struck Lothar and he could smell an acidic odor. He broke free of the jelly. In the meantime the spellcasters in the group felt spells being ripped away from their being. All cast at the green jelly with no discernable effect. Lothar was again struck by the pseudo pods and again smelled the odor. Again the spellcasters felt spells being ripped away from them. All retreated high into the air. The jelly climbed out of the pit. The spellcasters kept blasting away at the jelly, never with a discernable effect. Lothar changed weapons and fired arrows into the creature. It seemed to have more of an effect so he continued until his quiver was empty. He then went back into the lizardman village and gathered a crossbow and quarrels and shot the creature dead. The spellcasters had depleted their spells in a feeble attempt to kill the creature. The group then retreated away.
