4th age
Beldorn has ages corresponding to the various editions of the game. The ages are according to the human standards. The non human races have their own timelines.
1st age is original D&D and ends with the advent of AD&D. 2nd age is AD&D first 3rd age is AD&D second ed 4th age is D&D 3x editions.
The first age ends with take over of the Beldorn cosmology by the Invader deities from the original dieties. This age is relegated to status of legend.
The second age ends with the great plague which sweeps the planet and causes a great loss of knowledge.
The third age ends with the appocalyse stone adventure. The orginal deities nearly have their revenge on Beldorn and the invader deities in general.
The Beldorn year is 364 days in length and the various races have differences as to the year and how they calculate months.
The humans calender corresponds to our earth calender. Cyric is January, Helm is Feburary, Aria is March… etc. In order the Calender is Cyric-31 days, Helm-28 days, Aria-31 days, Lathlander-30 days, Mask-31 days, Tyche-30 days, Sune-31 days, Tempus-31 days, Tyr-30 days, Oghma-31 days, Shar-30 days, Talos-30 days.
The year begins on first day=Monday, the new moon is on the 4th of Cyric the full moon is two weeks after that and returns to the new moon two weeks after that and so forth.
The gnomes use a calender of thirteen months of twenty eight days each, while the elves and Dwarves tend to use seasons as a benchmark for time.
