dwarves

Dwarves are a family oriented race. Everything that they do is dedicated to the family or the stronghold.

The number nine is a sacred number to the dwarves. There were nine dwarves originally created from the dwarvish deities. These nine scattered about the earth in various places to set up the strongholds and to procreate. The dwarves too k the names of the vary stones from which they worked.

All dwarves started the same but preferences soon began to pop up creating different attitudes and other minor changes

Home is extremely important to the dwarves and the central hearthfire is essential for the well being of the clan. The priest that sets the hearthfire carries the home fire. This is called Balungol(the homefire) This is the eternal flame for the clan and is to be kept from any enemies.

There are special dwarves called nalwoks(diviners) These dwarves are revered as special to the clan and particularly followers and priests of dumathion. A nalwok gains a special feat. They are able to detect minerals at the range of 150 feet in any direction.
