The head of the church is titled Loremaster. All other clerics are named loreseekers.

The Loremaster is selected from candidates who have gathered the most information at the time of nomination. Three are selected to go through a council made up of six other priests who were not selected and they elect the Loremaster.

The Loremaster sits for a period of ten years and will not be elected again. If the loremaster dies before his time is up, a new loremaster will be selected using the same process.

At 7th level the cleric may gain a special type of familiar called a Larsas. The larsas is created and bound in a special ceremony. The cleric names the Larsas.

The Larsas acts as a living scroll. It will record items as told to it by its master. The Larsas moves at the same speed as the cleric. It has a armor class of 20 and has 5 hp per level of the cleric. It has a SR of 15 +1 per level of the cleric and follows the construct rules.

The larsas has no attack capability. If it is killed, the cleric must make a fort save DC 13. If failed the cleric loses a level of experience which he can make an atonement for the loss of the Larsas. The cleric must then also seek forgiveness from the church and then he may try to summon another one.

When a person is raised or resurrected , the cleric of Oghma will write the persons history from the recollections of his compatriots on the body. If the body is in ashes or other similar style state a document will suffice.
