Instead of using 4 buttons for a complicated control scheme, it may be better to simply use a two button configuration.

Each button will control a hand (LB – Left hand, RB – right hand).

Combos can be added from there. Left Hand plus Magic/Tech attack. Right hand plus left hand can offer power strikes.

It must be decided which is more desirable, as it could affect the entire design of each character.
