First Meeting With the Elves
We had thoroughly explored the Isle of Mann and believed in every way that we were alone in this new world when on the horizon a strange sail was seen. It arrived at the rude town that we had constructed at the mouth of the deep bay where we had made our first landfall three years prior. The ship was unlike the crude vessels that we had constructed during our exodus. It was sleek and majestic with fluid lines and cunning craftsmanship and it plied the waters with a skill that was beyond that of our sailors.
When the ship anchored it launched a pair of skiffs that quickly made shore. On board were men and woman of a race of exceeding grace and beauty. Though they were of a slighter build than an average Kaladonin, they carried themselves with a timeless strength and confidence. Through subtle magic they quickly overcame the differences in our tongues and asked our leaders from whence we had come and what our purpose might be.

The Kaladonins met with the elves and made with them an accord that granted to mankind the Isle of Mann and the coastal areas around the bay that they had yet explored. In return the elves would maintain mastery of the vast interior. It was a deal that would remain unbroken until the destruction of Byblios when the surviving tribes arrived to claim what they could.
