The Creation of the Cosmos

The Ancestors tell us before the World there was Aether or Spirit, also called Purity.

Before the World was Integrity and Truth, the foundations of Honor.

And from Purity arose Ior, the First.

Honored be Ior, the bones of the world.

Ior cleaved the Aether with Its claw, and from the shards, made Earth, Wind, Fire, Water.

Honored be Ior, the maker of Dragons.

But Ior’s children warred against one another, so It swept Its wings and molded the Great Tree of Life, separating the four realms.

And so the Cosmos knew Honor again.

The Creation of the Dragonborn

The Ancestors tell us, before the world, the Cosmos knew Honor. Ior ruled over the dragons of Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water, the balance maintained, the Spirit was Pure.

Before the World was Integrity and Truth, the foundations of Honor.

Honor reigned, until the coming of the Mortal Sisters, the Traitor, the Maker, and the Wylde Friend.

Their wars will undo the World.

The Cosmos shook with the slaughter of the Dragons, The Tree roots drowning in the sea of Dragon Blood.

Without Integrity there can be no Honor.

Ior took The Four, and bound Them into Mortal Bodies. Ior took the Blood, and placed it in their veins, and Ior blew Aether in their mouths.

Without Spirit, there can be no Honor.

And Ior said to the People, “Serve your Elders. Protect them. Go forth and multiply.”

And so the Cosmos knew Honor again.
