Captain Nuraan thanks the group for helping them defend the boat.

A group of Norfall pirates was in holding below the deck of the Hobgoblin ship. They take it over and sail away after exchanging a few items with Captain Nuraan.

Before the group is sent off to the village of Dunwaith just northeast of the Plague Hills they manage to gain some extra items for their travel. Devin learns of a new herb that causes temporary weakness when placed on weapons. Nezrin gains a concoction from Nuraan that helps cure diseases and Khurran trades his crossbow for an additional drop sheathe.

While in Dunwaith the group gains shelter with a woman who sympatheses with the resistance. The town is known by the resistance to be at least neutral towards. However, that has changed.

Later in the day after the characters arrival a large group confronts the woman, Isala, at her home where Devin, Nezrin, Khurran and Sharra are staying.

The group manages to calm the situation but they are forced to leave the village and spend the night in the wilderness.

During the exchange the group finds out that a village to the north, by the name of Hulskar, was burned to the ground by a legate calling himself the Dark Flame of Izrador. He was leading a large warband of orcs and they caught a small group of resistance hiding in Hulskar.

The next day the group makes it way south and eventually comes upon the burned village Hulskar late in the day. They make camp again and Devin searches for tracks and find a majority of the tracks head west into the plague Hills.

Devin and his band decide to head west as well. They know that they must eventually go into the Plague Hills because that is where the clues to the Dogor Clan have lead them.

Before they are able to get into the hills the group must pass through a thin swath of swamp. As they do this they are confronted by Fell. However, these Ashen Fell have the unusual ability to belch ash at their victims temporarily blinding them. Only Nezrin becomes affected and the party quickly dispatches the threat.
