Mercenary soldiers are fairly common within the Argylian Expanse. The are frequently employed by Corporations, or Planetary Governments who wish to remain “uninvolved” in a situation.

Many mercenaries are employed by large companies; almost corporations in their own right. Others are self employed and work on a job by job basis.
