Once a glorious world power, Ellysia now consist of a few lands governed by a decading line of emperors, it’s once glorious cities fallen silent and desolate. The people are from farmers to nobles poverty stricken as the Ellysian crown has little value among traders.
Yet many Ellysians still live in denial, calling the younger nations upstarts and lesser men requiring the guiding hand of the “beloved” Empire. While the country is dying a slow death, it’s capital Andara still holds some of the oldest libraries and temples in existence and many scholars pay highly to gaze at their secrets and to gain a glimpse at the former glory that was the Ellysian empire.
