Essence Torch
The flame of an essence torch glows with a nearly imperceptible dark, purplish flame. The torches are not created to shed light in dark places, but to evidently pacify weaker undead. Essence torches “burn” for one hour.
The Shadow Demon carried one in the Mithrium Mines under the dwarven fortress of High Gate, which by now has burned itself out. Three more unused torches were found in the dark ritual chamber where Kaalus Surecastle was attempting to bring Mauglurien in from the Far Realm.
