Undo the Ritual
The liches of the Cult of Thoresh were trained by the master lich, Baazul Thoresh to master the ritual, Living Vessel. This unique and powerful ritual bound the lives and souls of living devas to become walking, breathing phylacteries for their masters.
Ikar was a high-ranking member of the cult who murdered Baazul and was in turn run off by the heroes while preventing him from opening a portal to the Far Realm. He left behind a ritual book containing the valuable ritual as well as his deva, Ailis Marzal.
Tavar and his allies must race against the clock to understand the ritual and figure out how to reverse the binding on Ailis before Ikar returns. With extensive research and effort, he might even be able to undo the ritual remotely.
