Meeting at Dawn
Charsen, Elanna and Reynard met with Kadar in the morning and then set off for Vokor together. The party walked toward Vokor with Kadar along the Southern Road for a few hours. During this time, they had a chance to contemplate the motives of Kadar as well as their impressions of each other.
Elanna, Reynard, Charsen and Kadar arrived at Vokor the same day that they headed out from Vallaki. They didn’t encounter any problems on their way to the city, and it was a fine day in general.
However once they arrived, Charsen was stricken by a terrible headache followed by a series of strange images and sounds. He explained to the others that he thought he saw Vokor’s ancient past and its sudden and catastrophic demise.
On the return trip from Vokor, the group found themselves face to face with a band of ornery thieves. They wanted Kadar to give up his fancy sword and possessions, but of course that was exactly why Korovan Malkardis hired the group – to protect his nephew.
The group killed the bandits, though it was a difficult fight. The next day, an orphan girl showed up in Charsen’s Orphanage, and he knew it was the child of the thief he helped kill the night before. Everyone was paid their fair amount by Korovan Malkardis as promised.
This game was slightly fragmented. From what I recall, it occurred in two sessions, which is why Charsen has two separate journal entries.
