• This statue is located on the grounds of the Orphanage.
• Charsen felt strange around The Angel, thought he might have heard his name being called.
  • Charsen and some of the orphans cleaned off the statue and discovered it was a memorial dedicated 20 years ago – roughly when Charsen arrived at the Orphanage.
• Charsen had a dream and heard his name being called by The Angel who was holding the mutilated corpse of who would later be identified as Kardan.
  • In the dream, a giant creature or demon was in the wilderness behind the statue, but Charsen had the impression that The Angel was protecting the Orphanage.
• Later, thanks to Vlad and mostly Heda, Charsen learned that the statue is in memory of his mother, who ran out of the woods and gave birth then died. She was being chased by something terrible and Kardan died to defend her and the Orphanage.
