- When given as just “half-X,” it is implied that the other half is human
- Orcs and Goblinses are not universally evil.
- Of course, some members are, but no more or less than any other race
- Each race is itself pretty diverse
- For example, there are High Elvses, Woods Elvses, Aquatic Elvses (such as Atlanteans, though there are other communities), etc.
- Racism exists, though intensity varies from location to location
- Some generalizations:
- Humanses tend to distrust Orcs and look down on them as intellectually inferior
- Humanses can be condescending to Gnomeses and Halflinses (due to their short stature)
- Elvses are condescending to just about everybody, and tend to distrust Dwarveses
- Gnomeses and Halflingses have a friendly rivalry (that some groups take too far)
- Goblinses tend to be pretty laid-back and accepting, though misunderstood
