Keening City of Memory
• Unlike all the other “cities” of Carwithian, Keening has more of an “urban” feel to the ahebban, but still reflects the Eshih preference for architectural forms that echo nature. Even here, the buildings and streets curve and twist, without a straight line anywhere.
• The city was the Eshih’s first attempt to commune with the growing population of humans. They attempted to understand the way human’s lived away from nature.
• When the winds blow through the city, the curves and arches catch them and change them into an almost mournful dirge
• There is a small, but significant human community in Keening
