This is a very good Idea – providing approval to join do you guys mind if the stats are uploaded as a jpeg – the excel based character sheet that I use does not translate well to the portal and takes awhile to cut and paste but I could see where space maybe an issue.
If you are going to put stats on your creations, please post the gaming system the stats go to and tag the character for that system. It will make things easier for people to find what they need.
I would suggest everyone turn off notifications. I have received a few complaints that too many emails are popping into mail boxes. Go to your profile and click edit. half way down is the notifications buttons. Click to turn off.
When you add a character please post a link to it in the appropriate genre or genres. Tag with occupation, system (if system appropriate), species, location (if appropriate), etc.
On the main wiki feel free to add your banner to the credits section with links to your campaigns.
Great idea Stephen. Thanks for the banner, HurstGM. I’m not sure that I can contribute a massive amount, but I have made one entry, and may also use the site as a resourse when I am next in massive design shift mode.
OK so I set up 2 characters each with a different banner. The admiral guy is the banner i thought we could use on the site overall as the default. the 2nd banner is my personal one and an example of my work. So if anyone has any ideas or requests let me know.

Yeah, same here, I’ve been trying to uncheck everyone, but I don’t always remember (or, more often, remember right AFTER I hit save).
My bad on that I tried to remember to unclick everyone when i was doing massive updates.

Ive got some time to devote right now cant promise this level of activity on a normal basis
I was thinking to do the wiki as a list of characters for each genre.
Then do the tags as occupations, locations, type of character, etc.
This is a very awesome idea thanks Stephen! can’t wait to brew up a bunch of NPC’s to throw in the pot :)
