Scheinwelt Challenges

Through use of the Scheinwelt Emulator, it is possible for the party members of Accretion Gospel to face a wide array of powerful foes that do not directly relate to the story.

Every so often, the players will be given a choice to go up against a powerful enemy beyond the current power level of the campaign, or complete a complicated or difficult task. If they choose to do so, they may access a Scheinwelt Emulator in the game and take on the challenge.

Succeeding on a challenge grants them not only lucrative tools for their characters, but it also opens up further challenges. Furthermore, the challenges serve as fun little reminders of games that have long since ended. Typically, Scheinwelt challenges will bear a direct resemblance to a former campaign, a favorite movie or show, or some other thing enjoyed by one or more of the players.
