Race
Playable races are listed in the campaign wiki. Any race listed is available to players. Note that some races have been modified from their entries in the Player’s Handbook.

Class
All classes from the Player’s Handbook, Dragon Magazine, and other official Wizards of the Coast releases are available to players. Selecting your class determines your class traits (Armor and Weapon Proficiencies, Defense Bonuses, Hit Points and Hit Points per Level, Healing Surges, Trained Skills, and Class Features).

All Bonuses gained as a Class Trait have their bonus type changed to “Class”. Class bonuses do not stack with one another.

Example: Jared is playing a Fighter. He gains the Armor and Weapon Proficiencies of a Fighter, a +2 Class Bonus to Fortitude Defense, 15 + Constitution score hit points at 1st level, and 6 Hit Points ever level after that. He also has 9 + Constitution modifier Healing Surges a day, and selects his Trained Skills from the Fighter list as normal. He gains the Combat Challenge, Combat Superiority, and Fighter Weapon Talent class features as normal. He selects one-handed weapons for his Fighter Talent, and gains a +1 Class bonus to attack rolls with one-handed weapons.

At-Will, Daily, and Encounter Powers
A character may select any Powers that they wish from any class, although one of your starting At-Will Powers must be chosen from your Class list.

Example: Since Jared has chosen Fighter as his class, one of his At-Will powers must be from the Fighter list. Jared selects Reaping Strike, because he likes the idea of being able to do a little bit of damage even if he misses every swing. Next, he selects Valiant Strike from the Paladin list, because he likes the idea of getting a bonus to hit whenever facing multiple opponents. His Encounter and Daily powers can be chosen from any class list that he chooses.
