Races
Dragos
The Dragos are the last visible evidence that the Drokar (true dragons) once resided in the world. Viewed as sages, scholars, and scribes, the Dragos wander the land in search of lost history and take note as it passes. The Dragos have established a network of libraries and universities, and created several monastic orders to protect and preserve history in all its forms. If you have a question, they most likely have the answer but most are left with only more questions.
Dwarves
Children of the Elements, born of the Whitespire Mountains, the Dwarves reside deep within the mountains throughout the world, protecting the land from the Void and the servants of Corruption. Dwarven craftsmanship with stone, metal, and gems is unparalleled and they are the finest gunsmiths in all the lands. Though they may be short in stature, these cunning merchants haggle like a giant swings a club, strong and true.
Elves
Said to be the descendants of the Solfey the gypsy folk travel the world, guard-walking the Flow Lines and squat-guarding the Flow Foci. Elven caravans have created an intricate web of land trade routes throughout the civilized lands, while their scattered communities have become centers of trade and commerce. Though all who trade with them best be wary of what they convince you need to buy and keep a close eye on your coin purse.
Gnomes
Feral and savage, the cannibalistic Gnomes find their homes in the secluded forests, deserts, swamps, and wastelands that Humans find inhospitable or have yet to claim as their own. Gnomish culture, viewed as barbaric by most, is rich with art, ritual, and custom, as they hold tight and true to tenants of friendship and family as they try to find a place in the ever-expanding “civilized” world.
Goblins
Born with an insatiable curiosity, Goblins have a natural talent for all things mechanical, herbal, and alchemical. Goblin towns are filled with the stench of potions gone awry (or perfectly right) and the choking fumes of their machinations. Childish tinkerers, or mad geniuses, either way the goblin mind is one to truly experience and witness.
Halflings
Claiming to have been summoned by the Void Lords from another plane, Halflings wander the world alone, in search of a way back home. Though often mistrusted because of their questionable origin, Halflings are often hired for their uncanny ability to go unnoticed and gain valuable insight and secrets. Hold your tongue near the ears of Halflings.
Humans
The Bearer of Plagues, the Swarm of Locusts, the Harbingers of Death, call them what you will, the Human race is a diverse race that has accomplished more in a few centuries than any of the other races have in all of the ages past. With a short history and an even shorter lifespan, Humankind is determined to forge a destiny and an age all its own.
Orcs
Armed only with the Way of Venerable Steel, Orcs have begun to leave their island homes in search of wisdom and honor. As barbaric as they may seem on the outside, these warriors live by a strict moral code and seek out adventure to prove their worth to their people and to bring glory to their gods and ancestors. Deep of passion and strong of heart, Orcs can easily become lifetime friends or short-term enemies.
Revelso
Once Tieflings, the Revelso emerged from the Days of the Shroud vastly changed, having removed all evidence of their tainted heritage, and have quickly established themselves as a race of unification and understanding. Some say they are the reason the humans haven’t fought their way into extinction. And as ambassadors of peace, the Revelso have helped all the lands and races flourish and procured a peace unknown since the original The Age of Perfection and now struggle to maintain that peace as those fragile bonds begin to unravel in the current age.
Tieflings
One-time agents of the Void Lords, the Tieflings have long sought a place to call home. But since the Silencing they more often than not have found themselves pursued by Dragos bounty hunters or enslaved by human merchant lords. Abandoned by their masters or set free for reasons unknown, the Tieflings better prove their worth before the dragos finish what they set out to do ages ago.
