Ruby Maple

The Ruby Maple is among the most striking of all the maples. It possesses bright red flowers in the spring and its broad palmate dark green leaves turn a brilliant ruby red in autumn.

Ruby Maples do not possess sweet sap like some of their neighbors to the south. Still, they are cultivated within urban settings for their beauty. These Maples can grow upwards of 100ft and are broadly columnar in shape. They flourish in wet lowland areas, and are common in the Downs of Edigroth (and in many of the eastern lands as well).
