The Gryphon Ruins
“Tumbled down stone walls. A green carpet of grass spreads across the clearing, with gray columns jutting up through like a forgotten forest. A stream cuts through, ambling over a small waterfall made by a fallen obelisk….a few odd pillars seem to bear the rough shape of mighty gryphons… a stone door. There seem to be carvings into the stone, but they are obscured by a thick covering of moss…the stone door is set into the side of a low green hill, flanked by the weathered gryphon statues. A thick lichen has grown up over the double doors, mostly obscuring the thickly etched carvings and runes.”
