Vadalis Experimentation
Due to not keeping up with the wiki, this part of the campaign will be a quick summary.
After recovering the siege weaponry from an extra-dimensional space in a hidden location of the Nightwood forest, the party was enroute for pick-up by the Silent Vindication. An invisible ship and crew could be heard and in an instant, the weaponry and various salvaged crates and other supplies were gone (assumed to be aboard the ship).
The party decided to wait for pick-up for what turned into an additional day. They came to the conclusion that the invisible ship was the Silent Vindication and decided to find a way out of the forest on foot. Meanwhile, one party member realized that he had tucked away a map found in the weaponry building. After some time spent looking over it, the group deciphered it to be riddled with Draconic Prophecy related innuendos.
Of what little they could decipher, the party concluded that the map was a location nearby…in this very forest. It seemed like a logical location to investigate.
The party had a few run-ins with Magebred creatures and also some magebred Shifters! Knowing that this only could be House Vadalis, or some ex-member of the House, the party decided to press on. After finding an encampment, the party was able to over-take it and find an entrance to a testing facility. Inside, the party found varied testing taking place, on everything from wolves to humanoids…even Marked members of House Vadalis!
The party decided to destroy the equipment, and any subjects before coming to find a Tumbler that has the navigation and steering disabled. The party decided to see where the Tumbler would take them.
