Owned by Dr. Charles Longovetti, the Grinning Armband is a thin bracelet made of brass, surmounted by a silver animal's skull. When the wearer flexes his arm in a specific way, the mouth of the skull opens and fires a small silver hand on a lead. This hand will grab onto whatever it next contacts with, and the armband can rewind the cable with enough force to lift the bearer with it. Definitely Syrnth in origin.
