The People of the Mountain are comprised by loose collection of cave-dwelling barbarian tribes that range through the central portion of the Cloudcrown Mountains.

Known as the Ughthal people among themselves, the People of the Mountain have had a long history intertwined with the kingdom of Aerlynn, though their relationship with the Broken Kingdom is virtually non-existent. 

Among the most famous members of the Ughthal are Alina, who gave birth to Antrochus III, and Krestia, the rightful heir to Aerlynn raised by Jor Windstriker.

Recently, the barbarian Renda was sent forth into the Broken Kingdom by Chief Jor to protect Krestia and aid her on her quest to re-establish the House of Aerlynn.
