After they had finished interrogating the cultist a shot from a crossbow came from out of the darkness and rain and struck the prisoner in the nec killing him..

Our heroes helped escort the the visiting merchants back to the inn. They sat down and the merchants offer the heroes some money to help keep them safe while they were in the town. Once their arrangement was made the heroes suggested everyone return to the warehouse. When they got there, the goods they were supposed to keep safe had disappeared. The searched for foot prints which wasn't much help. The party told the merchants they had to investigate further and went back toward the inn. Before they took another step once outside the warehouse they were attacked by the most gruesome Fishmen of Dagon. Horrors of the sea they were but they were no match for the party. They continued on to the inn. There wasn't a sign townsperson to be seen along the way. They found pioter near the back door of the inn. Pioter gave them a disapproving look and went inside. The heroes followed after him. In the Kitchen they found him cooking food. They questioned him about what was going on in the town. They saw through his lies about Melora and tried to question him him without making him aware of. He told them were they could find the church and offered them some food. The group wisely refused. Pioter than disappeared into the rest of the inn saying he had more work to do.

The party than headed for the church. Thanks to the storm they got lost and found themselves back to the warehouse. They checked in on the merchants. While doing so, the cry of dagon came again and tried to pull Naryl and Reuse into the sea. They were rescued by the rest of the group and sadly onne of the merchants Teriza the rest of her gold leaf guard fell victum to the call and drowned themselves in the sea. Saddened though they were the PCs headed for the church. As they approached Naryl Noticed the cemetary hadn't been used in quite sometime. Mesa remembered that followers of Dagon don't bury their dead, but cast them into the sea. Once inside the church they found one of the pues was a secret door and they headed down into the depths of the church.  They were instantly attacked by more fishmen. After dealing with the fishmen they explored. Soon they went down a large flight of stairs into a big room. They found them selves ambushed yet again. This time by fishmen, cultists, and and the high prietess of the church and the town's Allderman. This fight was more tough than the others but eventually the group over came their attackers. Soon after they found a secret door on the east wall of the chamber.
