In the far reaches of the mists of time the Elves lived in the mystical feywild. Over the centuries the elves migrated beyond the veils that separate the worlds. Always connected to nature, the elves lived in balance with the natural order in the far away land of Nataevan, the Eternal Forest.

From this unblemished homeland the elves spread out, exploring the world and settling countless lands.

The elves of Northern Calmar are the descendants of these ancient explorers and in bygone eras they ruled vast stretches of untouched land until the rise of Humans from the plains.

The elves of Northern Calmar never had great numbers and wars with the fledgling human kingdoms and the arrival of barbaric orcs ended their dominance over the continent. As Nerath came to power the elves peace reigned in Northern Calmar and the elves and humans were allied against the monstrous races. With the fall of that great empire however the elves

Today the elves live in isolated tribes, migrating over vast areas of untouched wilderness or living in human cities. The largest elven tribe in the Ardun region is the Woodsinger tribe who live in the mysterious Cloakwood though a few elves live in Cairnbridge and hardly any live in Ironwall.
