Portal Street
This rather mundane street winds its way through rows of homes and businesses before coming to an end before the massive green guild house of the Emerald Eyes. In happier times the city boasted enough influence to warrant a permanent portal to and from the capital of Nerath. This portal still exists, inactive, in the street before the guild hall. None today but the highest of Guild Mages can use the portal.
The portal itself is a circle inscribed with golden draconic runes nearly ten feet diameter. The latent magic of this rune circle protects it from harm though the sparkling gold has tempted more than one person into learning the painful way.
Other than the Portal and a few shops selling obscure reagents, the Emerald Eyes Guild is the most interesting thing on the street.
It is a large stone edifice of green stone laced with blackened veins and a great dome that glitters brightly in the daylight and glows with a thousand tiny runes at night. Magical torches line the outer walls and acid green flame dances in a hundred sconces.
