Berwyn Ruins
On the eastern end of Berwyn, near Eastgate is another set of ruins. In a walled compound are three buildings, a tower, a manor house and a domed structure, all built on a massive scale. Most believe that these ruins are from the time when the titans and giants ruled the Soro Valley. The Barrowguard mans the gates of the compound and let none pass but the shamen of the Circle of Berwyn. The shamen say that the ruins are haunted by the spirits of the ancient past. Those about to be raised to the Circle as shamen are given a quest in which they enter the ruins to bring back an spirit item of importance to the Circle, usually placed there by an elder shaman.
