Mariah Hill is currently Deputy Director of SHIELD, second-in-command under Nick Fury. She is in charge of the SHIELD Super-Agent program, and the direct superior officer to Hawkeye and the other Super-Agents.

She is typically based on the Helicarrier, and does not do much field work any more. SHIELD personnel of note that report directly to her include Clay Quartermain, Jasper Sitwell, and Jessica Drew.
