After an uneventful night, the party with their exiled companions, jump into the well/portal one-by-one, and find themselves– by the fate of the gods perhaps, or just plain luck [random roll, lucky]– back in the Mirrored Hall. They exit the cave, finding their horses and mule dead from starvation, their flesh picked apart by scavengers. They salvage what they can, and decide to head off to Hochoch to get Idni restored, buy supplies and get back on track with their ‘mission’ to deal with the giants. Sinnba-vek and his sage part ways, eager to carve a niche in this new world that they have found themselves in; they disappear into the hills.
Another uneventful journey to the city [no random encounters rolled], and they rest up. Idni is restored, but in the process changes sex! Halmary pens some scrolls, and Zarkov gets some potions brewed. Ungrid buys supplies, leaving Corvin to gather rumours. All spend some time carousing and enjoying themselves, sporting little more than a bad hangover. They also discover that time moved faster in the realms of the Mirrored Hall and that six weeks rather than six days have passed, and summer is coming to an end. The armies have retreated back to the city, to resupply and prepare for their next advance, and giants have been fortifying the towns that they have conquered. After two weeks, they head off to the Dim Forest, to find elves to make alliances with.

A couple of days later they spot an elf in the trees and hail him. His name is Galdor and he leads them to his camp, where a clan chieftain– Thingol– leads a small band of elves against the giants and their allies that inhabit the forest. They are wary and suspicious of the party, but are willing to join forces if the adventurers prove themselves; so they send Galdor off with them, leading them to an ancient elven tomb that holds a relic– a sword– that will prove useful. If they can retrieve it, then they will forge a temporary alliance. Agreeing, the adventures walk down the steps leading inside, and pass through an antechamber with a dusty fountain and pedastals holding rusted and old, brittle weapons. own more steps they descend, into a tomb with an ornate sarcophagus, crates and urns of offerings, and a door leading out. As soon as they enter the chamber, a ghostly figure of a kingly elf appears, wielding a long sword threateningly…
End of Session
Kills: None. Only XP gained was from carousing.
Notes: no fights, no real mishaps from carousing, Idni changed to ‘Sindi’ as he changes sex due to a side-effect of being Restored to full health, regaining his missing eye.
