Newly arrived from Byswell Town, a group of travelers discover their destination nearly submerged by the flood waters of the storm season. They find themselves, along with much of the population of a small city, packed into the keep of Beilston Mound. In the midst of this crowding, a clandestine war is brewing between the prideful Temple of the Great Master and the shadowy Matchless Gang.
