Looking For Players!
Dra8er, I very much enjoyed reading your “Dungeon Design” section and agree with almost all of it.
If you guys ever get this campaign back up and running shoot me a note. Very nice what you had going on here, looked like a load of fun.
Gonna reboot this campaign, and give it a quick run-thru wit teh group. Been through a massive rewrite (added bacon to the flavorings…) & plan on releasing it as a FREE PDF soon!
Had a lot of fun yesterday. There is a great group of players/characters here and we seem to mesh well. Thanks go to our great DM who has put together a most excellent adventure.
Oh yeah, and that Ogre thing was pretty wicked. To bad my wizard couldn’t hit it with… well… anything!
Beware the four armed Ogre on crack!
We’ve got a Full House today, adding two more players, should be an EPIC game!!!
Congratulations for being selected as the Featured Campaign of the month! You have a very interesting site Dra8er, keep up the good work!
BTW: Nord Apple, very cool! xD
I fully agree with arsheesh, this campaign definitely looks a hell of a lot of fun. I’ve always loved the idea of a mega-dungeon the size of a city, oh the fun to be had in exploring them! Your page on Dungeon Design has really got me thinking long and hard again about ways to build my “Dungeon in Space”, where truly no one can hear you scream (bwa ha ha ha ha!).
Man this looks like a really fun campaign! Dra8er, I appreciated reading your philosophy of Dungeon design. In one of my campaigns we are just now finishing up a delve into Minotaur infested Dwarven ruins. This had been my first foray into writing a dungeon module, and in hindsight I would have done allot of things differently. That said, I will likely be consulting your design philosophy for future dungeon delves.
Excellent first game, we had to move our second session back to May 1st, but we pull a double header in May and game again on the 15th…
one of the “undecideds” decided on a bard…
Game On f/ Saturday
We currently have;
Female Fighter Type (Norse Flavored? Think Valkyrie)
1 Deciding between Wizard or Rogue
Alright we have a catch phrase for our campaign/crawl;
The Classic Dungeon Crawl Re-envisioned.
Explore an ancient Dwarven Citadel riddled with legendary beasts and untold treasures.
“This Dungeon Delve is designed for countless exciting nights of dungeoneering & monster-slaying.”
Each level has been meticulously crafted for a few hours of engaging game-play.
The delves should allow player characters to advance from 1st all the way to Epic levels. It features dozens of iconic monsters for your heroes to battle. Hordes of treasure and magic, as well as a plethora of other gaming goodness!
Even though these delves are primarily “one-shot adventures”, they are woven into an epic campaign. Each scenario/level will be set up “comic book” style for roughly one night of game play!
System Played / Edition / Setting: D&D, 4th Edition w/ that 1st Edition Feel, Home Brew Realm & some novel house rules/variants (email me for a detailed description). I seek creative players!
Number of players wanted: Players Come & Go, All Are Welcome!
Age preference: Looking for Mature People, age is irrelevant!
Usual gaming day / time: Every Other Saturday. From about Noon until 5. Session have gone on for much longer! We determine the date of the next session @ the end of every game.
Looking to get a group together & start this “campaign” March 6th.
Online Game: Though there is absolutely no need to go online to play this game, there will be tons of reference material, notes, & misc available online for your use.
Misc: Role Playing w/ Great Atmosphere!
We like to have fun & not take ourselves too seriously, its about creating a story together & sharing a fun enjoyable experience!!!
TON’s of room f/ playing! I have a large home with dedicated gaming space, enormous sturdy tables & chairs. We use miniatures & props.
