Mars-ville is a town on the west side of the Smelly-wear River. It is said that the town’s founding pre-dates the Big Mistake, but most believe this to be a boast of the locals, if they have any opinion at all.

Mars-ville’s success is due to its location along two trade-routes: along the Smelly-wear from Filly to No Hope, and as a crossing point of the Smelly-wear. There is a ferry that operates year-round, and folks use it to go to and from the ruined city on the opposite bank.
