The orbital period of Tiengong is much longer than that of Terra – one Tiengong year is equivalent to 26 Terran years. Seasons on the planet last much longer as well. In essence, the calendar is divided into a Warm Cycle, and a Cold Cycle, corresponding to Summer and Winter, while the other two seasons are a shorter transition period at the end/beginning of each cycle.

In Terran time, the seasons range thus:

• Winter – 11 T-years
• Spring – 2 T-years
• Summer – 11 T-years
• Autumn – 2 T-years

Keep in mind that 1 hour on Tiengong is 7.1 Terran hours long. One 24 hour day on Tiengong is 170 Terran hours. When determining Tiengong weather conditions, use Terran hours as the standard rule for duration of effects, hence, one Tiengong day is divided into 7 weather periods.
