Redgate is indeed free from Oldden’s influence. The gate was guarded by ill-equipped soldiers who looked like they had been out tilling fields only days ago.

Shortly after we entered, we were met by Heru. I thought Crixis would be glad to see her alive, but he was strangely hostile. I wonder what changed.

It seems Heru is in charge of the make-shift army. I did not realize she had any military knowledge, but from what I’ve seen she’s doing fairly well. Unfortunately her army is made up of local volunteers, highly spirited but sorely lacking in training. I fear they will not last long against the skilled soldiers of Oldden.

When Heru heard people were coming from Oceana to join the army, she decided to wait for them before launching the assault on Luhlumere. It will be approximately seven days until their arrival. There is nothing to do until then but prepare and wait.
