Following the Battle of Thrones in the middle of the Third Age, Norsca was granted territory south of the Spine as thanks for their contribution. Though the people of Norsca were originally welcomed (after a short transition period), the weak peace between them and their neighbors quickly crumbled. Today, Norsca remains a huge rival of both Angrad and Winter. However, in light of the recent arrival of The Archmage, High Queen Hjyorlief has agreed to keep her people on the front lines of Vale Tenebrous.
