Led by the mysterious and enigmatic Anubis, Nubia sits alone in Vulcanica as the only national entity in the continent’s history to have never lost a city or area it has taken. Though very much an autocrat—and a very demanding one at that—Anubis is highly loved by his people, and there is no evidence to suggest that he is even remotely incapable at his job. However, he is deeply unpopular among the other leaders of Vulcanica, who find his cold and mysterious demeanor highly suspicious. Occasionally, rumors and stories surface of Nubian expatriates who claim to have despised and feared Anubis while living beneath him, but they never seem to last long before fading away…
