Not all who help the Champions are sentient and independent-minded. Still, the lesser creatures of the world deserve a brief mention for their part in such historic times.

After the cleric’s death, his mount was released back into the Shadowfell in deference to its loyal service. Sokaris had rubbed off on it – while it was by no means pure of heart, Amyria could sense no evil within it any longer.
A manticore that Bressal happened to land on when he was thought to have fallen to his death. Through sheer brute force, he cowed her into becoming his pet.
A scarred bulette found burrowing in Cachlain’s court, accompanied by assassins employed by Sangwyr, whom the group defeated. Thoradin realized the Bulette’s potential and had the group spare it so that it would serve the Coalition’s cause as his mount.
The child prodigy has created and named a number of different artifices, all of which resemble toys of some kind or another.
The Flameheart Defender named Coilly : This Toy looks like a snake made of flaming coils. It is small and hard to find in the heat of battle. It can bite its foes with fangs of red hot steel or spit little fire balls at a short distances. It also has a self destruct feature that triggers when it dies, causing fiery results.
The Relentless Harrier named Chomper : This Toy is Mr Paradox’s favorite. It looks like a hopping bear trap and acts like a dog. It really likes to bite its foes in the backside when they are flanked.
The Healing Figurine named Nurse Kitty: This Toy looks like a white kitty doll in a nurse uniform. It is small and hard to find in the heat of battle. Inside it’s little “med kit” is standard medical supplies and 3 special super healing infusions that only this toy can use on Dox and his friends.
The Stalwart Defender named Shield-er : This Toy looks like a mechanized armored plated spider with a shield for a abdomen. It is small and hard to find in the heat of battle. It can’t climb up walls, but it can immobilize foes with a strong webbing after a painful bite.
The Clockwork Acid Wasp named Buzzer : This Toy resembles a wasp made of metal coils and magically stained fiberglass. It flies fast and can sting its foes with its acid-coated stinger. It can also shoot small acid-coated darts short distances. Like Coilly, it has a self destruct feature that triggers when it dies, creating a light acid rain to sprinkle on nearby creatures.
The Clockwork Companion a.k.a. the 20 Sided Defender (20.S.D.) : This Toy is Mr Paradox’s 2nd favorite. It looks like a metal 20-sided object with hidden daggers-like tentacles. Unlike his other toys, Mr. Paradox made this one more “functional” that “fashionable”. It spins fast and can attack repeatedly by bouncing off the ground and on to its foe. It is also small and hard to find in the heat of battle.
