04 / 25 / 2008—After a few combat tests, it became clear that damage-dealing Biotic powers needed a slight buff, since Armor values tend to be high. For now, Biotic powers ignore Armor rating, but not a shield rating. The “Background: Biotics” edge has been altered to reflect this change. Other than that, everything seems to be in decent balance. As a note, a Krogan Vanguard with a Great Axe hits HARD. —Adino
04 / 24 / 2008—Weapon mods and Ammo types have been tweaked slightly and powered down just a little. Armor has been powered down and reposted. Weapons have been tweaked in several ways, and Clip sizes have been reduced across the board. Salarians have gained a Racial trait and are now ready to be played. Writing for the actual campaign has begun as well, but is still in early draft stages. Game is scheduled to start in a little over a week, so I’m behind. Sue me. —Adino
04 / 23 / 2008—Weapon and Armor modifications are up and available for viewing. Another new Edge tree has been made and posted, at player request. There’s a lot of numbers floating around all over the place, so I am going to start conducting a LOT of combat tests soon to see where everything ends up. Suggestions are welcome. —Adino
04 / 22 / 2008—Military Specializations and Advanced Specializations have been reworked completely, and are much more simple now. Turians and Quarians have had their racial abilities tweaked slightly. Tech Talents are finalized and fully posted, and Omni-Tools have been simplified and reposted. Tactical Specialties have been tweaked and finalized. Wiki entries for space travel and starships have been created, though the latter doesn’t get into stats or anything of the sort. —Adino
04 / 01 / 2008—Omni-Tools are up and (almost) final, though I am still debating on what sort of time frame I want as a recharge rate for their talent points. The Military Specializations page has been updated to talk about what a Military Specialization means in the context of the Savage Worlds conversion. Also updated the Weapons and Armor main articles to clarify a few rules changes. The wiki is nearing completion, so feel free to look through the whole thing and let me know if something doesn’t make sense. Thanks!—Adino
03 / 31 / 2008—Rob made me a snazzy new campaign logo. Everybody, thank Rob. Also started working more on NPCs, laying some ground-work on what the typical NPC page will look like and the kind of information that it will have, as well as assigning approximate experience values. Relationships between the NPCs are also being hammered out. The Omni-Tools page has been updated with the current stats, but they are still kind of in a state of flux (the “Point Recharge” idea is a sticking point right now, so anyone that has suggestions drop me a message). —Adino
03 / 30 / 2008—Military Specialization pages created, and requirements for each are posted (along with the Advanced Specializations that will be available for each). The wiki Table of Contents has also been reorganized a bit. Tech Talents are about halfway finished, and what is already done is available for viewing on the wiki (though it won’t make a lot of sense until I finish and publish Omni-Tools). Tactical Specialties (and their Advanced versions) are up on the wiki as well, though some of them may go through some tweaking. Yes, they’re powerful. —Adino
03 / 29 / 2008—The five main player races are now complete and, in my opinion, balanced. Backgrounds are gone, and will likely stay that way (I think the Hindrances system accomplishes the same thing). The page on Biotics has been updated with setting information, and Biotic Powers are finished and published. Military Specializations are nearing completion, as are Advanced Specializations, and should be published soon. Also inverted the entries on the update history to show the newest updates first, rather than vice versa. —Adino
03 / 27 / 2008—Ranged weapons, bladed weapons, and all armor types have been tabled and are now up on the wiki in their respective positions. Weapon, armor, and ammo upgrades are in the works, just need a little ironing out and formatting. Also added a universe timeline page to the wiki. —Adino
03 / 26 / 2008—Weapons and Armor are completely done, the shield mechanic has been worked out, and melee weapons have been modified and are waiting to be published. Just waiting to get everything into tables before it’s put up into the wiki. —Adino
03 / 04 / 2008—Lots of little updates all over parts of the wiki, including some adjustments to the current racial abilities. Still ironing them out, though. —Adino
02 / 14 / 2008—Updated the Weapons and Armor pages to list off Mass Effect weapons and add some new Wiki links, mostly setting the foundations without doing any stats. —RobJustice
02 / 14 / 2008—Updated the entries on Asari, Krogan, Quarians, and Turians to include their current racial bonuses and hindrances. These are an extreme early draft. —Adino
02 / 12 / 2008—Several new NPCs added, including the crew of the SSV Elbrus, a Dreadnought formerly belonging to the Alliance that has been “donated” to the Citadel fleet as a show of good faith. —Adino
02 / 08 / 2008—Update History page created, and previous updates retconned so that I don’t look crazy. —Adino
02 / 07 / 2008—Biotics and Electronics pages constructed. Still trying to determine exactly how these will work in the game. —Adino
02 / 06 / 2008—Portal created. Basic galactic info posted under Party Wiki. Large number of setting-important NPCs loaded onto the NPC tracker. —Adino
