Notes from the DM!
Fall 483
I’d like those of you who would to create an arch-nemesis or -villan or -rival for your characters, or maybe some great event in their life. Give your story a solid hook into the realm and something for the campaign to build off of.
Create your characters at first level and add one level of any base class to it as a bonus level. Do not add anything to your scores, merely take the higher number, such as HP or base saving throws. This does not count towards any multiclassing limitations.
On top of all this, there are no alignment restrictions for clerics with respect to their gods and Paladins may be anything but Chaotic.
For your ability arrays (stats) use 3d6, re-roll ones and twos. Repeat until all stats are created (six times total).
All characters will be granted one suit of armor w/ shield if you’re a shield-user (Nothing heavier than a chain shirt or small shield without financial backing) and a basic weapon fitting to your class. On top of this you are given the basic adventurer’s kit and a class-specific kit (thieves’ tools, alchemists’ kit, etc etc) and 1d10×10~gp
You can make more than one character in case your main dies, you aren’t enjoying it as much as you thought, we need a different class mix, or just in case we switch story arcs and character groups. (Where everyone swaps out characters and we play in a different locale in the same world.)
