The council of the wise rules over the Crag Mountain Fastness and acts as a war council for dealing with the Hoodwraith rising. In a nod to the Ancient Alliance the inclusion of Duergar was decreed until they proved to be untrustworthy.

The current membership is Twelve lords of the Dwarven clans, among those is Bram Ironfell, the owner of the defunct Karak Lode and sponsor of the WHG following the scandal at Port Cormaa

There is also Lars Gurnnison whose son Binwin went missing and never came back during a trip to investigate a wraith. Gurnnison still holds a grudge against WHG8 who he holds responsible for the loss of his son.

The Thirteenth Clan were the previously mentioned Duergar
