Boarspire Mountains
This vast, 100 league long mountain range divides the Midrealm in half, running almost directly from the wast to the east. The peaks run as high as 12,000 feet, and there are no known passes over its summits. The only way to get from one side to the other is to take the long way around.
Named by the famous explorer, Gustav Von Pattron, who believed the range resembled the back of a great wild boar he had once encountered. In fact, wild boar are not native to the region, but the name stuck.
