The Codex is a collection of lore that players can build in their journals during their campaign. Codex entries give information about the world of Thedas, including stories of historians and scholars, passages from the Chant of Light and folktales, and information on certain creatures, characters and items.

The information in this Codex comes from within this particular setting, and thus may not be completely accurate but the author has tried to keep it as true to the flavour of Dragon Age as possible.
