ugs & Exploits
Below are the list of known Bugs & Exploits for the Dan-Craft server which will be added to over time. They are a work in progress and will be better defined as they are discovered.

Taking advantage of any bugs or exploits on the server will result in being suspended or Banned. Feel free to abuse them in singleplayer, but not on the server.

EXPLOITS

• Goblins: Although leather and iron are supposed to take longer to make now, and the process to obtain them is an integral part of Dan-Craft, both can be obtained before you are supposed to get them from goblin villages.

• Leather: Sometimes when tanning Cured Hide on a hide rack, the last one won’t disappear after you get the leather from it, making it an infinite source of leather. On the server this broken hide must be destroyed immediately via lava. Singleplayer, go nuts.

Major Bugs

• Invisible Creatures:
  Most often when you die, some creatures will be invisible when you respawn and you won’t be able to fight them. Save and enter the save again to fix. Very annoying, i don’t know what causes it, but the fix is quick and simple, however inconvenient. Try not to die to avoid! XD

This bug is also sometimes fixed if you die again and respawn, but not always. Feel free to try this method but saving and coming back is the only sure way to fix this bug.

BUGS

• Animal Bikes
  First, if you log out of the game and you were on your mount, when you sign back in you won’t be anymore. So if you were high up on a dragon, when you sign back in you will fall to your death.

Second, sometimes when riding a mount for a long time it will glitch out and suddenly you cannot interact with the game. Sign out and back in but prepare for something funky. This is likely caused the the fact that the bikes go extremely fast and sometimes encounter some kind of bug at those speeds, but this is rare.

Third, the squid bike is very buggy when riding over water and have a couple deaths occur from it. Use at your own risk.

• Ars Magica Recipe Crash
  If you find a spell recipe that says something along the lines of “Can’t find item, this is a bug” DO NOT USE IT!!! Will immediately crash the game, no fix until Dan-Craft updates to a newer version of minecraft in the future. This is simply caused by the fact that i updated it once. All the spells that generated before the update are bugged, all the ones that did after the update are fine. Go to the fringe of the already generated world for good spells. North of Winterfell, North-East of Iron-Ridge. North-West of Riverrun.

• Aurora Borealis
  Sometimes if you are AFK in a snow biome for a long time, the game will crash with a report saying it had something to do with the Aurora. I have played for hours under the Aurora and since this is an incredibly rare crash i see no reason to take out this lovely mod.

• Castle Defenders Mod
  Sometimes the skins for the blocks and items of this mod will not work and will just be white squares. Does not effect performance in any way. Can be fixed be restarting minecraft.

• Dragon Crash
  If you get a crash that says something about Mine-Fantasy Small Dragons, it is just because their AI is very complicated with the flying and fire breathing and stuff so sometimes when there are a bunch of dragons together it will cause a crash. Just sign back in, doesn’t cause any permanent issues.

• Enhanced Visuals Blood
  Sometimes your screen will get blood on it when another player is hurt or deals damage. I will provide instructions to turn blood effects off shortly.

• Enahnced Visuals & Bosses
  Sometimes when screen effects are happening (rain, blood, etc…) and you look at a boss, it causes glitchy screen effects.

• Exploration
  When rapidly generating new chunks (flying) it can rarely crash the game.

• Game Crash on Start-Up
  If your game is crashing before you get to the menu screen, go into your .minecraft folder. Inside open up crash reports and view the latest one. If it mentions “update manager” or “mine-fantasy” then the fix is easy. This happens when there is a shaky connection with minecraft.net and mods are trying to check and see if updates are available but can’t connect. To fix, simply disconnect from the internet entirely, start up minecraft, and reconnect once you are at the main menu.

• ID Conflict
  If when starting up the game you get a prompt to select an ID for a block or item, CLOSE OUT THE GAME. Find the download for the Config file on the main page. Delete your config file in your “.minecraft” folder and put the download config in its’ place.

• Leather Tunic Skin
  For some reason the skin for the Leather Tunic item is showing the wrong image, that of the weeping angel statue. You can still equip it fine and it will display on your character normally so purely an minor aesthetic bug.

• Mine Fantasy Recipes
  Some of the recipes for the mine-fantasy mod will spit out the wrong item when you craft them. This is caused by how his mod ID’s are implemented which has compatibility issues with ID resolver. There is nothing i can do about this, but it shouldn’t be very many items that have this issue.

• Models Glitched Out
  Sometimes the models for certain animals and objects will be clearly glitched out and messing up. Simply close down minecraft entirely and start it back up to fix.

• New Save
  Sometimes when starting a new world it will crash during generation. To counter, have your crash reports folder open while the world is being made. If a crash happens, close minecraft and try to enter the save one more time. If it crashes a second time it is no good, delete the world and start a new one. The file is inside your “.minecraft” folder and is called “crash reports”.

• Out of Memory
  If you gets a crash that mentions you being out of memory, or if your game gets consistent lag spikes where the game freezes every few seconds, then you need to Allocate more memory to minecraft. See the Performance Optimization

• RPG Inventory Mod
  If you fire the Bow of Birch it will crash the game so i disabled that item. Also there are reports of other bugs in the mod (as we only have a beta version until we update Dan-Craft). One such report is that some items disappear after equipping.

• Server Connect
  If you are having trouble seeing the server, just keep refreshing on the multiplayers screen or maybe delete and re-add the server. Also trying Direct-Connect sometimes does the trick. Everyone is able to connect eventually it is just touchy to get in sometimes.

• Server Crash
  When first connecting to the server, if the game crashes just restart minecraft and try again. This sometimes happens when joining the server for the first time after an update.

• Teleportation:
  Sometimes teleporting rapidly between cities can crash the game.

• Twilight Forest Uncrafting Table
  The Uncrafting Table, or Goblin Tinkering Table, is bugged. Using it in any way will immediately crash the game. Sorry i know this sucks… (Update) some people have used it without issue, so i guess use at your own risk.

• View Distance
  Turning the view distance above Far will likely crash the game

• Water Pipe Mod
  Sometimes the skins for the blocks and items of this mod will not work and will just be white squares. Does not effect performance in any way. Can be fixed be restarting minecraft.
