Half-Elf
In human cities and towns, people regard the half-elf as an exotic curiosity or an unwelcome outsider, depending on the location. Eldorans look poorly on anyone other than themselves, while Reanaarians generally do not consider race a factor in determining a person’s worth. Most half-elves have the curiosity, inventiveness, and ambition of the human parent, along with the refined senses, love of nature, and artistic tastes of the elf parent.
The half-elves of Tellene stand anywhere from under 5 feet to about 6 feet tall, making them taller than all elves but the gray elves. Female half-elves are 2 or 3 inches shorter than the male, but this still puts them on par with male high elves. Average weight for a male is 130 to 160 pounds, and around 20 pounds less for a female. Eye color is usually green, but skin and hair color varies considerably, depending on parentage. A mixed Fhokki/high elf child is likely to have pale skin and blond or auburn hair, whereas a Svimohz/wild elf offspring possesses very dark skin and hair.

Half-elves are naturally friendly towards all races because of their in-between status. They get along best with humans and elves, since they share some heritage with those two races. They are friendly towards all other races, though they share a certain bond with the other half-breeds: half-orcs and half-hobgoblins. However, unlike their half-breed cousins, half-elves find life much easier.
As a race, the tel-lathlan do not posses any lands unto themselves. Instead, they can be found in any human and elven city, and many other places throughout Tellene. Similarly, they do not have a language unto themselves, and thus speak the language of whatever culture in which they were raised. Often this means that half-elves speak Low Elven and at least one human language. Since half-elves do their share of wandering, many often speak other languages as well.
In terms of religion, half-elves are not likely to become followers of any one religion, but they are likely to venerate The Watcher, Risk or the Raconteur over the other gods. Half-elves most often display a mixture of beliefs.
Half-elves are natural adventurers, as they never really have a home. Their elven heritage makes them able wizards and sorcerers, and their human half makes them extra versatile. Half-elves generally choose all classes with equal frequency, with slightly more choosing arcane disciplines, and fewer choosing the paladin or cleric.
“Am I unhappy being both human and elf? No. I can only be miserable if I think myself so.”
